Even those who can't tell Zac Posen from Zach Braff know how to spot W magazine at any newsstand: W is, of course, "the big one." But as any regular reader knows, the magazine's taste for extravagance isn't limited to its oversize physical dimensions. We like to tell our stories in a lush, unbridled way too. And ff that means devoting five dozen pages to a single photo shoot, so be it.
For this issue, photographer Bruce Weber and the W crew journeyed down to New Orleans with model Karen Elson, several trunkfuls of spring finery and a determination to tell the story of the Gulf Coast city almost three years after Hurricane Katrina. ...
