Unilever--the second-biggest, multinational advertiser in the realms of personal care products, food, beverages and cleaning agents--launched a super-sized advertising campaign during pro football's biggest game of 2008, Super Bowl XLII. Aimed at women in their twenties, the new Sunsilk "Life Can't Wait" campaign uses vivid colors and iconic female celebrities as models for their shampoo line.
The Super Bowl ad shows still images of Marilyn Monroe, Shakira and Madonna juxtaposed with old stock footage of the beauties acting or singing. Video clips spring forth from their curly locks, while the camera pans in and text on the screen reads: "some girls can't ...
