WOODBURY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 22, 1995--Jennifer Convertibles Inc. Wednesday reported sales for the four weeks ended Aug. 26, 1995, from company-owned as well as licensed stores, increased by 16.7% to $11.9 million, compared to the $10.2 million reported for August 1994.

Sales for the 52 weeks ended August 1995, from company-owned as well as licensed stores, increased 23.5% to $136.0 million from $110.1 million in the prior year.

The company has changed its accounting practices to include the operations of its limited partnership licensees in its consolidated financial statements, as announced in Jennifer Convertibles' press release of June 13, 1995. ...
