Mounted on a wall in the accounting department of The Shamrock Cos. is a bright metal and glass sculpture engraved with the phrase, "Numbers speak louder than words.''
For the Westlake marketing communications company, some of those numbers include two acquisitions in the past three months. One of those deals is the just-completed purchase of Pittsburgh-based Arnold Printed Communications, which gives Shamrock its first foothold in Pennsylvania.
