ANAHEIM -- This time, the Angels received no ninth-inning heroics.
After rallying Monday night for a victory after blowing a ninth-inning lead, the Angels squandered another ninth-inning lead and lost 4-3 to the Cleveand Indians at Angel Stadium.
Travis Hafner's two-run home run off Justin Speier was the winning hit for the Indians.
The Angels' streak of games won when leading in the ninth inning was snapped at 163.
On Monday night, Torii Hunter gave the Angels the lead in the eighth inning with a home run and when that lead was lost, he hit a game-winning grand slam in the ninth.
