NORTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 1996--Thanks to modern technology, snowmaking at North Lake Tahoe ski resorts is picking up where Mother Nature left off.
The region received between one and three feet of snow right before the holiday period, and manmade snow is allowing ski areas to augment the base snowpack.
