Grants totalling almost [pounds sterling]4,000 have been shared among 16 good causes in the annual hand-out from Prestonpans Community Council.
The town's children's gala day was again the largest recipient, with an award of [pounds sterling]800 from this year's local priorities budget.
An allocation of [pounds sterling]600 was made to Preston Lodge Mini Rugby, along with grants of [pounds sterling]500 to Preston Athletic Youth Football, [pounds sterling]400 to the community centre summer playscheme and [pounds sterling]400 to Prestonpans OAP branch.
