LIMA, Peru, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. (NYSE: MER) today announced it is inaugurating its office in Lima, Peru to provide research coverage of Peruvian companies and to function as a base for Merrill Lynch's Investment Banking division, which advises government and private sector enterprises on capital raising and mergers and acquisitions.
The office was formally inaugurated by Winthrop H. Smith Jr., Chairman, Merrill Lynch International, who was here to meet with government officials and host a reception for leading public and private sector officials.
