LEATHERHEADS is, like its director and star George Clooney, stylish, relaxedand easy on the eye. It's a brave but foolhardy attempt to mix an Americanfootball picture (for the guys), a romantic love triangle (for the gals) and a1930s screwball comedy (for dead people?).
It's set in the 1920s, when the professional game was being born.
