MOORESVILLE, N.C. _ A lot of NASCAR observers feel seven-time Winston Cup champion Dale Earnhardt ``made a statement'' about his potential for 1996 with a dominant victory in the '95 season finale NAPA 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
However, the driver with what appears to be the most momentum going into the new season that opens in February at Daytona International Speedway is 1989 champion Rusty Wallace.
During the last third of the 31-race '95 tour, Wallace drove his Ford to a better record than any of his rivals.
