If you've updated to Windows 95 and have a problem with the operating system, you've got a more serious problem facing you in the future _ especially if you've already made that first call to Microsoft's technical support.
Microsoft is joining a new trend for software vendors: Charging for support.
Although you get 90 days of free technical support with Windows 95, if you have an early problem _ as I did _ the clock is running out on that deadline. My free support ends soon and the options are not pretty. (Almost all vendors are moving to this style of support. Many companies are doing this type of support since profit margins are getting so thin.)
