Indian Ocean nations to link each other with fiber-optic cable.(ACROSS THE REGION)

In a move that could reduce telecom costs, Indian Ocean countries are planning to replace satellite links with less-expensive fiber-optic cable for linking the countries to each other as well as intercontinental networks.
