ANTRIM DUP Councillor Brian Graham has said that the attendance by DCAL minister Edwin Poots at an event organised by Irish language group Pobal is an opportunity for Irish language groups to be given a healthy dose of realism.
He also re-stated that there was no possibility of the Northern Ireland Assembly bringing forward Irish language legislation and that Irish was most damaged by its linkage to republicanism and to terrorism.
