A YOUTH cafe run entirely by young people has opened its doors in Daventry.
The Indigo Youth Cafe, based at the Phoenix Youth Centre in Ashby Road, was launched on Friday.
It has been set up by young volunteers from the Northampton Voluntary Youth Action Team, who formed a steering committee and came up with the idea of the cafe.
Initially, the cafe, which will be run by the steering committee, will be open on Friday between 6 and 9pm.
There will also be drop-in sessions on Saturday and Sunday from midday to 4pm.
