SEOUL, April 16 Asia Pulse - Poongsan Corp. (KSE:005810), a South Korean supplier of non-ferrous metals and defense products, said Wednesday it has decided to turn itself into a holding company to improve its corporate structure and enhance investor interest.

Starting July 1, Poongsan will be separated into a holding company and two operating companies, the company said in a regulatory filing.
