Due to the use of generically modified (GM) soy and corn in processed foods, it is estimated that over 70 percent of foods in U.S. grocery stores contain genetically engineered ingredients. This proportion will increase in the near future if GM (Roundup Ready) sugar beets are allowed in the United States.
It is unknown whether these new varieties of plants also alter human generics. These foods contain gene sequences that have, until now, never been seen in nature. It is possible these genetically altered foods are causing adverse health reactions in the people that harvest ...
