NEW YORK - Speedo made a splash last week in New York, London, Tokyo and Sydney with the unveiling of its new "space age" LZR Racer swimsuit, which underwent extensive testing by U.S. Olympic swimmers Michael Phelps and Natalie Coughlin.
Speedo began Feb. 12 on the Today show introducing the swimsuit to millions of viewers, and later that morning seven Olympic swimmers modeled the Speedo suits in New York City at a press conference.
Multiple world record-holder Phelps said of the LZR Racer, "You feel like a rocket and like you're swimming, not under the water, but on top of the water." Speedo is hoping Phelps ...
