NEW YORK - Contemporary designer Phillip Lim is heading overseas with the opening of his first store outside the U.S. in Tokyo.
The 3.1 Phillip Lim store, which is scheduled for an April 26 unveiling in Tokyo's Aoyama district, is the designer's second flagship location - the first opened in July in SoHo here.
Sazaby League, a Tokyo-based manufacturer and retailer that works with brands ranging from American Rag Cie to Starbucks, will open the store in a partnership with Lim.
