ST PATRICK'S ATHLETIC boss John McDonnell claims the performance against Linfield was the best ever during his time in charge.
Despite being so ravaged by injury that they could only name four substitutes, the Inchicore men swept the Irish Premier League leaders aside with a truly scintillating display that should have been rewarded more handsomely.
Mark Quigley and Gary O'Neill both found the net in a 2-0 win but St Pat's carved out at least 12 good chances and wouldn't have been flattered had the scoreline doubled.
