A DEMAND from 'retired' players to take part in the occasional game of rugby has seen Forth Valley Fossils RFC being reformed after a prolonged hibernation of nearly 30 years.
They have now been officially re-instated and will join the Scottish Rugby Union as a stand-alone club.
Games over the summer have been planned, starting this Saturday in Grangemouth, which will double as a selection process for the international Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival taking place in Edinburgh in September.
