THE Post Office refuses to hand over pounds 4,000 in pension payments to blind Anne Hopton - because they say her signature does not match the one in their records.

Grandmother Anne, 81, who is also deaf, used to collect her pounds 100 each week without any problem until she lost her pension card, which carries her signature.
