Parker Hannifin Corp. will form a new medical unit from the six businesses of HTR Holding Corp. that it has acquired for an undisclosed sum.
The HTR companies, which previously operated as the Hi-Tech Group, will become the Medical Systems Division within the company's Seal Group. A company spokesman said Parker anticipates its life sciences and biosciences division will benefit from the acquisition of the companies, which had combined sales of $93 million in fiscal 2007.
