Four years ago Phil Davis was looking for a way to reinvent himself as well as a way to do a hot towel treatment before a shave in his bathroom.

Earlier this year the 48-year-old father of one ended up doing both and making history in the process by masterminding the iWave Cube, known as the world's smallest patented, personal-sized, and portable microwave.

"The microwave was invented in 1947. For 60 years it sat on the kitchen counter or it sat over the range. It sat and nobody tried to move it," Davis said. "That's what I tried to do. What I bring to the table is that I made it so small that it's personal."
