ELMSFORD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 11, 1996--KLM Royal Dutch Airlines announces the finalization of its acquisition of a 26 percent holding in the airline Kenya Airways, following the original announcement of this intention in early December 1995.
KLM Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer Rob Abrahamsen and representatives of the Kenyan government signed the share transfer agreement at Nairobi today, Jan. 11, 1996. Abrahamsen and KLM Executive Vice President Passenger Sales & Services Dries van Luyk will join the Kenya Airways Board of Directors to represent KLM.
