A NEW pounds 5.3m engineering and construction centre will provide hi-tech training for some of the leading industries in North East Wales.
First minister Rhodri Morgan yesterday officially opened the new centre at Yale college in Wrexham.
Half the funding for the centre at the tertiary college came from the Assembly Government.
The opening ceremony was attended by students, staff and over 100 guests including senior ranking politicians and educational specialists, as Mr Morgan unveiled the plaque.
