Former Kingsthorpe ABC boxer Leonard Lothian has had his proposed Midlands title fight postponed.
Lothian was due to take on Martin Gethin next Friday at the Aston Events Centre, but the show has been cancelled after the headline fight fell through.
Wayne Elcock had to pull out of his British middleweight title defence against Darren McDermott due to a severe chest infection. Lothian's manager is now hoping to get the title bout on in June and is confident the fight will still go ahead.
"It is a shame for Leonard, but these things happen in boxing," said Ingle.
