MURDER victim Meg Walsh may have been alive when her body was dumpedinto the River Suir, the Central Criminal Court heard yesterday.

State Pathologist Marie Cassidy said that the young motherwhose husband John OBrien is accused of her murderhad died from at least two blows to the head with a heavy object.

She said it was not clear if the 35-year-old was dead before she was dumped inthe river, but the victims injuries alone were serious enough to kill her.
