When Sacramento outgrew it's first professional basketball arena, a new facility was constructed nearby. The owner of the "Old Arco Arena" took on the challenging task of converting the former stadium-concert hall into a three-story, 211,000-sq-ft office building.

As part of the renovation project, a packaged variable air volume (vav) system was designed and partially installed. However, the waning commercial real estate market caused the project to be halted with less than 20% of the building occupied.
