More electronics purchasers will buy from value added distributors because of the services they provide, according to a recent Purchasing Magazine survey. Those that already use VA resellers will place even more business with them. The survey also found that a majority of purchasers want VA distributors to offer contract manufacturing. The study was done in conjunction with a similar poll of distributors surveyed by the National Electronic Distributors Association (see page 72).
