With beach season approaching, you might be considering a diet delivery program, in which prepackaged, portioncontrolled meals are delivered to your doorstep, as an easy solution for shedding a few pounds. But do such programs really work?
"These programs do help people get started on weight loss. Psychologically, they take the pressure off, because you don't need to make the decisions on what to eat," says Sandy Pressman, MS, RD, a dietitian at the Weill Cornell-affiliated Rogosin Institute's Comprehensive Lipid Control Center.
