Northeastern Illinois University's ENLACE program works to increase the number of Hispanics in graduate schools in hopes that today's students will be future faculty. With Hispanics currently comprising just over 3 percent of flail-time faculty at four-year institutions in this country, program officials believe they are addressing the low representation of Hispanic faculty head on.
