Thursday is Pearl Harbor Day.
That's the day when Americans remember the attack that got the United States into World War II.
On Dec. 7, 1941, planes from Japan dropped bombs on American ships at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.
The next day, the United States declared war on Japan. Three days later, Germany and Italy declared war on the United States. Then the United States declared war on them.
``Remember Pearl Harbor!'' became a battle cry for America.
