COLUMN: EDITOR'S LETTER

I didn't get married in May or June, but allow me to reminisce for a moment. It was a brilliant fall day back in October 1981 when my husband and I exchanged our vows. From the big white church in Northboro center, we were whisked away to our reception where we, and other members of our wedding party, rode around in golf carts for some picture-taking. After that, all I remember is being served pumpkin soup out of a real pumpkin and asking my father to pay the band for an extra hour.
