Hryvnia's exchange rate to change following market trends - National Bank
KYIV. April 24 (Interfax) - The hryvnia's official exchange rate will change following market trends, National Bank Chairman Volodymyr Stelmakh told Interfax.
"Changes will occur in the official and market exchange rates, of course. If real market demand and offer show this tendency, it will have to be followed," he said.
Earlier reports said that the National Bank of Ukraine has been keeping the official exchange rate of the hryvnia, which the National Bank only uses in settlements with the Finance Ministry, at 5.05 hryvni /$1. The principles of the monetary policy for ...
