Despite delays of its 787 Dreamliner that stretch about 15 months, The Boeing Co. said Wednesday that it expects to have sold more than 1,000 by the time airlines get their first jets in the third quarter of next year.
The firm order count now stands at 892.
But the outlook for another Boeing plane in development, the 747-8, is not so clear.
