Denver, Colo. -- Wild players dressed in the cramped visitor's locker room at the Pepsi Center Saturday morning, preparing for what might have been their last practice of the season, facing an elimination game that could alter the course of the franchise.
This is when professional athletes grit their teeth, jut their jaws and pop a little Monty Python on the sound system.
Anyone standing near the door to the locker room could hear laughter and the infamous song from Monty Python's "Life of Brian," featuring men hanging from crucifixes singing, `'Always look on the bright side of life!"
