CARS were left at home as council workers took a more environmentally friendly commute to work.
Staff at Scarborough Council took to the footpaths yesterday to play their part in National Walk To Work Day.
Council bosses teamed up with Hardies, in Huntriss Row, to offer all employees who walked to work a continental breakfast as in initiative to ditch their cars for the day.
