Are you ready for big screen plasma TVs on the walk into Dodger Stadium? How about a fancy cocktail party at the Top of the Park, with a view of the downtown Los Angeles skyline?
Dodger Stadium will be getting a major facelift over the next four years, owners Frank and Jamie McCourt announced Thursday morning in a joint news conference with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, City Councilman Ed Reyes and Council President Eric Garcetti.
The McCourts said they intend to keep the stadium's historic ambiance, while transforming the 300-acre property into a modern fan and eco-friendly year-round destination.
