Franklin David "Frank" Hicks Sr., a retired pantograph operator, died Monday. He was 72.
Born and raised in Attleboro, Mr. Hicks lived there all his life.
He was a graduate of Attleboro High School and Johnson & Wales College in Providence, R.I.
Mr. Hicks served in the Army Reserves from 1954 to 1958, when he enlisted in the Army. He then served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard from 1958 to 1961, and 1962 to 1964. He enlisted in the Army three times after that, finally being discharged in 1981.
