Here are the names of the candidates who have filed for board of education seats in Capital Region schools in the Tuesday, May 20, votes. City school district candidates have until Wednesday to file petitions.

Averill Park: Jessie Zweig and Jennie Glasser seek the 3-year seat.

Ballston Spa: Incumbents Frank Townley and Jeanne Obermayer, and challenger Shawn Raymond seek two 3-year seats.

Berlin: Four people seek two 3-year seats: incumbents Frank Zwack and Elizabeth Miller and challengers John Nash and Andrew Zlotnick.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo: Sean O'Connor, Edward Ackroyd and Maureen Sikule seek two 3-year seats.
