Oil companies raise pump prices by another P0.50/liter.(Business News)

Chevron Philippines Inc., which carries the Caltex brand, started the new round of P0.50 per liter pump price adjustments starting at 12 noon on Saturday (April 26).

The other oil companies which adjusted prices are Petron Corporation, Eastern Petroleum and Total.

As of press time, the other oil companies indicated that they are still reassessing their cost figures as well as market movements.

Since the closure of its refinery in 2003, Chevron already joined the league of oil importers, and has been mainly using the MOPS as pricing reference.
