A MAGIC May Day bank holiday is on the horizon - with all sorts of exciting events on the agenda perfect for providing an ideal family day out.

Abseiling, climbing, kayaking and quad-biking will be among the exciting activities on offer for all the family at Penistone.

A Family Fun Day at the Peak Venture Centre in Huddersfield Road will give children and their parents - and grandparents - a chance to try abseiling towers, archery ranges, climbing walls, a high-ropes course and a quad-biking track.
