LEOMINSTER - By a unanimous vote of 3-0, the city's License Commission last night gave the only full liquor license it had to a national steakhouse chain, Texas Roadhouse.
Once again, commissioners expressed dismay that the city had qualified applicants that went away empty-handed.
"We have two very qualified applicants and we only have one license," said commission member Henry P. Lanza. "It's just very frustrating."
Texas Roadhouse is part of a national chain of 260 restaurants making its way into New England, he said. He described the restaurant as a family-style venue featuring hand-cut steaks, barbecue fare and homemade sides. The ...
