In the article about diagnostic error, I was surprised by the premise that error is related to physician training.
I truly believe that given the appropriate amount of time for an office visit and interpretation of tests, most physicians in any specialty would have a very low diagnostic error rate. But you can't pay a professional $80 or $90 and expect to get a S1,000-$2,000 worth of advice.
