BOSTON, April 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- John Hancock Funds has completed the adoption of the Rainier Large Cap Growth Equity Portfolio. Last week, shareholders of the Rainier Large Cap Growth Equity Portfolio voted to approve a reorganization resulting in the 4-star Morningstar-rated fund (as of 3/31/08) being added to the John Hancock family. The Fund has been renamed the John Hancock Rainier Growth Fund (Class A symbol: RGROX), and, effective today, it is available for sale to retail investors through financial advisors who market the John Hancock family of funds.
