NEW YORK - Tumi is taking on lower Manhattan.
The upscale luggage and accessories maker will open the doors today to its newest store at 67 Wall Street as part of an effort to raise the brand's visibility within the financial services community.
"Wall Street is a solid retail opportunity in that the living and working community in and around there now accepts specialty and branded retailing," said Laurence Franklin, CEO of Tumi, which joins fellow upscale retail neighbors Herms, Thomas Pink and Tiffany & Co.
