I've never been known to walk on the wild side when it comes to my shoe wardrobe. But even I couldn't resist a pair of dalmatian-patterned shoes from Hush Puppies. It was 1996, and the company had pushed its mascot basset hound aside in favor of the spotted dogs, adding spots to the vamp of its Wayne suede laceup as a tie-in with the remake of Disney's "101 Dalmatians."
