MIAMI -- Eight area CUs have bought time on the local NBC television affiliate to tout their service as part of the 100th anniversary of U.S. credit unions.

Each of the 30-second commercials will feature a 20-second message about the CU difference, followed by a 10-second tag customized by the participating CU, according to Sherri Pfeffer of brainstorm2go, which helped develop the ads.
