Friday 11am - THE TRUST which runs Louth Hospital says the number of MRSA infections and waiting times for patients are down at its hospitals compared to this time last year.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust's annual results revealed -
* The number of clostridium difficile infections was down by 41 per cent.
* The number of MRSA infections was down by 37 per cent.
* Waiting times for diagnostic tests (such as MRI and CT scans) fell from around 20 weeks in January 2007 to under four weeks by December 2007.
