I am a front-to-back reader of CLINICAL PSYCHIATRY NEWS. I say this first because what follows is criticism of an establishment that I question, not of a publication that I admire.
I read in disbelief two news articles and one opinion piece in the January 2008 issue and would like to react to what I perceive as a frustrating situation. "Stimulant Useful for Comorbid ADHD, Bipolar" p. 24), which discussed a presentation by Dr. Robert L. Findling, is one of the articles; "Conduct Problems Tied to Mothers' Drinking" p. 25), which cited work reported by Brian M. D'Onofrio, Ph.D., is the other.
